Our quarterly class meeting of Print Like a Pro is commencing this week here in sunny San Diego. The next one has been scheduled for September 21-23, also here in San Diego.

PLAP spends almost three days giving you the tools, work flow and technical knowledge to get the best possible prints out of your printer consistently, without wasting valuable time and supplies. I know we have many creative folks out there and I wanted to let you know that we are intensely exploring and test-printing/transferring images onto substrates "Other Than Paper". Currently we're testing the transfer of images onto glass using your current inkjet printer, no special inks required.

As mentioned in the last NNS, we are also selling and testing dye sublimation inks for heat transfer. We are now a distributor for Geo Knight Heat Presses, all sizes from 8x10 to the really big 44x108's. If you have a need for a heat press or want to know more contact me directly.

Over the next few months, Museo is changing the boxes and packaging for their greeting cards. First, the 10 and 50 card packs are discontinued, so we've put what we have left on sale for 50% off. Obviously, they are limited to quantity on hand.

What will the new cards look like? The format remains the same, so the physical size of the cards hasn't changed. Now we will have 24-card boxes with envelopes in a retail-type package. There will also be a 100-card and envelope package that is "white boxed" for more commercial use. Finally, there will be an ability to buy cards and envelopes in bulk. Yes, you will be able to buy envelopes separately. As soon as we receive inventory of the new sizes, we'll let you know. If you need info right away, email me and I'll see what I can get for you.

It seems that there is always a rebate for some printer, but since it is the end of the first half of the year, some of you may want to take advantage of these opportunities:
