Epson recently announced the GT-20000 High Performance Color Scanner. The GT-20000 offers the productivity benefits of advanced scanning technology in an affordable, large-format document scanner. A versatile workgroup performer, this powerful product provides 600x1200 dpi resolution and 48-bit color for incredible detail on scans up to 11.7" x 17". Effective June 13th, Epson has discontinued the Epson R-800 printer, some may still be available if you need one. I have not seen an announced replacement as of this time.

You likely know that the Epson R2400 has been replaced by the R2880. We tried to get a 2400 for a customer last week & it looks like they are all gone. If you need a 2400, best to look at E-Bay or your local used printer classified ads.

No doubt on this one, it will not be extended.

Part Number Changes

There are a couple of Epson part number changes you should be aware of if you use Epson’s Premium Glossy paper. Unfortunately I don’t know if the base paper, coating or just the number has changed. The name is the same.

Fine Line Papers

We are considering adding Fine Line Papers to the products that we carry. Any input from you with experiences with the quality, cost, etc. will be appreciated. They have a wide variety of papers so if you have favorites or not so favorites, let me know that as well. Karen@digitalartsupplies.com.
